What inspired you to start blogging?
I am a frustrated photographer and I love everything creative. I had been reading blogs for years and I thought I’d give it a go to push my creativity and encourage me to take more pictures. I thought it would also be perfect to document my children growing up and rant about some of my other passions, fashion and interiors
I have recently been nominated for an Amara Interior Blogging Award in the Newcomer category. I was absolutely ecstatic when I found out someone had thought of my blog and liked it enough to nominate me. This is so exciting and I guess it’s a small reward for the hard work that goes behind a blog.
Out of all of your posts, which post would you say means the most to you?
I wrote a post for Wayfair’s website a few months ago alongside a few other bloggers. I really enjoyed writing for someone them and the feedback I got of my pictures was amazing. They liked them so much that they featured them as the main images for the post (see the image below). As a non English speaker I always worry if people will be put off by my English not being perfect, but so far it hasn’t been a problem.
It’s all about the pictures for me. Whenever I plan to write a post the first thing I think about are the pictures I will take for it. I love the whole process of selecting the images, editing them, and thinking how well they will fit in the post.
If you could work with any brand in the world who would it be and why?
The White Company – It is one of my favourite brands ever! I love all their products, their packaging is stunning and I could fill my home with all their candles. It is the perfect brand.
