2 years ago you came into our world and created our little family. You have made mine and Daddys life complete and you fill our days with so much joy and happiness. You are funny, cheeky, stubborn, clever, loving and polite and we could not be prouder of the little boy you are becoming.
You are such a funny little thing. You love nothing more than making people laugh and when something is funny you will do it again and again. One of your favourite tricks is running or spinning around and then ''accidentally'' falling down and shouting 'OHHH!!'. Then you stand up and say 'Okay' because you're okay :) You make these funny little faces, you tickle daddy, you sing and dance, you make us smile every single day and I love your sense of humour.
You are cheeky...oh so very cheeky. Mainly when you want something or you aren't getting your own way. So many times you have wanted something and you will come running up to me and give me a huge kiss and cuddle in the hopes I will give in. You also have a cheeky face that you pull when you are doing something you know you shouldn't be. A cheeky little smile that secretly makes my heart melt but I have got pretty good at not letting that little smile get me to give in to what you want.
You are stubborn. My God are you stubborn!!! You definitely inherited that trait from your father and it is becoming increasingly hard to manage as you are becoming older but I am doing my best. As I write this, it is 6pm in the evening and you have eaten no dinner. It's a dinner you normally eat but today you have decided that you want to eat biscuits instead. I have said no, you have got out the high chair and it is now a battle of wills. This doesn't happen too often as normally you give up after a while but sometimes, like tonight, you are not giving up at all! I suppose as hard as it can be at time, it is a trait that will do you well in the future as you always stand by what you think. You are most definitely your fathers son!
You are clever. Your intelligence and what you are capable of amazes me all the time! You are able to do so many different things and it is becoming increasingly hard to say where your strengths lie. You are musical and love singing. You are a bit of a bookworm at times and love a good book. You are a dare devil and love wrestling with Daddy and you LOVE anything that gives you an adrenalin buzz. You are so imaginative and I very often find you talking to your Jake & the Neverland pirate figures or playing with your Tsum Tsums and wonder what story you are imagining now. You amaze me every day with the things you can do.
You are loving. You are such a compassionate little boy and love giving kisses and cuddling with the ones you love. You quite often come over to us for a random cuddle through out the day and I can easily say that you give the best cuddles going :) You are also always so kind to others. You love being around other children and always plays so nicely. You also love animals (especially nanny's molly dog and your hamster flash) and you are always so gentle and kind to them.
You are polite. I think your favourite word is 'Thank you' and you always say it unprompted which makes me beam with pride. You also always say 'hello' with a little wave when you see people and say 'Bye' or 'See you later!' or See you soon' when it's time to leave. It's pretty heart melting.
This last year has been filled with so many happy memories and Daddy & I cannot wait to make so many more with you in your next year.
We wish you the happiest of birthdays and thank you for giving us the most wonderful year.
We love you millions.
