Christmas is on it's way and that can mean only one thing... No!! Not that it's time to crack out the mince pies...that it's time to get ready for Christmas Jumper Day!! This year, this fun filled festive day is on 16th December and last week we were invited along to Westfield Stratford City to help Save the Children UK get ready to launch their special day.
If you don't know what I am talking about then let me explain...Christmas Jumper day is a chance for everyone out there to get silly for a serious cause. All you need to do is pop over to the Christmas Jumper Day website and register to get your fundraising pack and then it's all over to you. Get together with your friends/colleagues/school mates or family and put your best Christmas Jumper on show. By donated just £2 (£1 if your at school or nursery), you will be helping to save children's lives! The more you raise, the more you help. It's as simple as that!
This year, Save the Children have teamed up with a number of partners who were on hand last week to help Hubby, Bubba and I get into the Christmas spirit! You can see all of the fun that we had by checking out my vlog here (or to read about the event and what you can do to support Christmas Jumper Day then carry on reading):
All of the partner brands for this years event had contributed to our festive fun in some way. WHSmiths have created a festive product range that is supporting Save the Children and giving everyone a chance to design a very special Christmas jumper. Benji and Bruno are the two adorable bears that are part of the festive range and to be in with a chance to design the jumper that they will wear next year all you need to do is check out the link here!
During the event there was a chance for all of us to get involved with some crafts and attempt to make our own Christmas Jumpers. Admittedly mine was no where near how amazing the Selfish mother range is (check that out here as half of the proceeds made from the Christmas jumpers goes to Save the Children) but I think that Hubby definitely gave her a run for her money... :)
There was lot's of yummy treats for Bubba including a taste of festive Jelly Belly Christmas Dinner pouch from Ella's kitchen. This Christmas they will be donating at least 30p from each sale of this Christmas treat to Save the Children UK. The team at Save the Children had also set up a fab little play space for the little ones to try out some toys from the Fisher Price laugh and learn range as for any of this range that is purchased from Argos up until the end of December £1 will be donated to this amazing charity.
We had such a fun filled day with Save the Children UK and the proof was in the fact that it was a tantrum free morning from Bubba as he was kept entertained the whole time. Thank you so much to Sae the Children UK for inviting us to this wonderful event and don't forget to register to get your fundraising pack and do something great this Christmas!
